Eminem's ex-wife is back under a microscope after she allegedly crashed her car while her son and his friends were with her.

According to a report TMZ published on Tuesday, February 17, police were called to Kim Scott's home in Michigan after she allegedly slammed into another car on her street and didn't stop. After she pulled out of her driveway on Monday night, Scott drove with her teenage son, Parker, and his friends to go shopping when she allegedly hit a parked vehicle with her Range Rover and kept going. In fact, she tried to go back home and crashed into her garage door.

A neighbor who witnessed the incident called the police. First responders showed up and took Scott to a nearby hospital to treat her injuries. She was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday morning. Kim Scott is reportedly facing two misdemeanor charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to stop or identify after causing property damage. As of this report, she has not been arrested in connection with the incident.

Kim Scott's lawyer, Michael Smith, says he's not aware of an active warrant for his client. If one is issued, he says Scott will turn herself in. Although the situation is "unfortunate," Smith maintains that Scott is "a good person" and "a beautiful human being" despite her criminal history.

Eminem and Kim Scott were together on and off for years before they got married in 1999. They welcomed their only daughter, Hailie Jade, in 1995. The couple got divorced in 2001 but briefly reconciled in 2006. They were divorced again by the end of 2006. Eminem legally adopted Scott's daughter, Stevie Lane, and Alaina Marie, the daughter of his sister-in-law, Dawn.
