We're officially six weeks out from Halloween, the spookiest time of year. But none of these things SHOULD be creepy . . . they just are.
Someone asked people to name "normal" things that creep them out and they're not sure why.
1. A chair that's still warm from the person who was just sitting in it.
2. People who smile with wide eyes.
3. When you're having a one-on-one conversation, and the person keeps saying your name. Like, "Great point, Susan" instead of just "Great point."
4. When your cat or dog is staring at the corner of a room. Your immediate thought is . . . ghosts?
5. Any children's lullaby if it's sung even a little too slowly.
6. Playgrounds at night. Especially if there's a swing set.
7. Mascots. Especially ones with dead eyes and a fixed smile.
8. People who say "my pleasure" instead of "you're welcome."
9. Human feet. Multiple people said "they just look wrong."
10. Labubu dolls. No . . . they just ARE creepy.
