It Was Hot in Colorado Too! Dave’s Weekend in Five Pictures

I was back in Colorado this past weekend to do some yardwork so our house will qualify for fire insurance. There was a big fire out here in 2013 in the forest where our house is. It destroyed about 700 homes so now fire insurance is a little harder to get. Cutting grass, cutting trees, trimming bushes, basically all the things I needed to do. But I also had some fun. Let’s take a look at those five pictures!

Of course, I had to FaceTime with Bernie!

The thermometer on the woodshed said 91°. That’s about as hot as it ever gets here.

Finally had a free day on Sunday so rode up in the mountains.

At the top of Tenderfoot pass. Over 10,000 feet in elevation.

I’m sure I got some funny looks when I stopped along the roadside to play my ukulele. But there is nothing like playing outdoors.

I hope you’re having a great summer so far! A week from this Friday it’s already the Fourth of July. Can you believe that?
