Lisa Kudrow isn't immune from getting emotional while watching Friends, even if she herself was one of the stars on the beloved sitcom.
During a recent podcast appearance, the No Good Deed actress spoke about her experience watching Friends for the first time, more than 20 years after the show ended its run, per People. As for why it took so long for her to sit down and watch the series, she joked that she would have been "mortified" if someone had walked in on her watching her own show.
"There's episodes I've never seen. I mean I was at the table read. I don't know what the rewrites were for the other stories, you know?" she said. "There are episodes I just never saw, and still haven't because I'm still deciding how to work my way through it. It's like there's a certain amount of anxiety around watching it."
While watching the fan-favorite sitcom, Kudrow is getting to experience all of the heartfelt, hilarious moments that viewers have continued to flock to throughout the years, including big moments for her own character Phoebe Buffay. The Romy and Michele's High School Reunion star described how she got emotional watching Phoebe walk down the aisle in a magical winter wedding to Paul Rudd's character Mike.
"When Phoebe got married, and she's walking down the aisle and has this huge smile on her face, I teared up because she was so happy," Kudrow said. "She was so just, like, honestly happy, and it was just — I don't know. It was really touching to me. Like, she deserves to be this happy."
Kudrow also recently appeared on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast where she revealed new details about the relationships within the Friends cast and how they all managed to get along.
