Sabrina Carpenter Claps Back At Claim She Doesn't Sing Live

She's Short n' Sweet, and she sings 100% live! Sabrina Carpenter is clapping back at a claim on social media that she lip syncs during her concerts.

Carpenter responded to a post on TikTok claiming that her performances are "30% lip singing, 30% backing track, 40% singing" over a video of her performing "Please Please Please." Well, Sabrina has spoken as she responded to the clip, writing in a comment, "I sing live every show 100% would you like to speak to my audio engineers."

Sabrina is currently singing 100% live in arenas across the country on her "Short n' Sweet" North American Tour, stopping in cities including Boston, Philadelphia, Nashville, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Dallas, Seattle and more, before wrapping up in Los Angeles on November 15th in Los Angeles, California. The trek kicked off August 10th in San Francisco, California at the Outside Lands Festival.

Carpenter's tour is in support of her latest album Short n' Sweet, which includes hits like "Taste," "Please Please Please," "Espresso," "Bed Chem" and more.

In a message to fans on social media, Sabrina explained of her latest collection of songs, "I feel extremely lucky that each time I write a new record I learn a little bit more about myself, and can create from that place. The making of Short n’ Sweet was one of the most special, honest, up and down, stupid and fun experiences of my life. I thought if something was funny enough to make me laugh then maybe it belonged in a song. Happy or sad!" She added, "Thank you to my brilliant talented friends, writers, producers, mixers, engineers, and creative minds that helped me bring this world and these songs to life. Not a serious thought was thunk yet somehow they were.. lol I love you all and am so grateful."
