Mariah Carey, Queen of Christmas, is reminding us all that it's "not yet" time for the holiday season.
In a new video posted to social media, Mariah is sitting in her private jet wrapped up in a cozy blanket, as she does, as she responds to an announcement from the pilot. The pilot says, "This is your captain speaking, welcome aboard Mariah. We are headed to the North Pole." Carey responded with "Not yet!" followed by, "They always rush me." The post was also captioned, "To those asking…. Not yet!!!"
Just goes to show - you can't rush the Queen of Christmas! So, if you see holiday decorations in stores already, simply ignore them until she gives the green light. Let's let Halloween pass, shall we?
Every year, Carey takes to social media to announce "It's tiiiiiiiiiiime!" to let everyone know she's started to "defrost." However, over the summer, Mariah did reveal her plans for her upcoming Christmas tour, "Mariah Carey's Christmas Time," which kicks off November 6th in Highland, California, and stops in cities across the country including Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Nashville, St. Louis, Philadelphia, and more, before wrapping up in Brooklyn, New York on December 17th.
"Mariah Carey's Christmas Time" celebrates the 30th anniversary of her Merry Christmas album, which includes the now iconic holiday classic, "All I Want For Christmas Is You."
