Jenny's Labor Day Weekend Pics!

Andrew and I headed up to Deerwood, MN for Labor Day weekend to enjoy some relaxation after a very busy August! We went to the same Airbnb that we went to last year because we loved it so much! They provide kayaks and one morning I got up for the sunrise and kayaked around the chain of lakes the cabin is on and enjoyed nature!

We went hiking at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park and went up in the Observation Tower. I like adventures but certain heights things scare me so I was a little nervous but once you get to the top, the views are so awesome!

We swung by High Wheel Confectionery in Ironton and although it's a little pricey, it was such a fun experience! If you have kids and are in the area, take them here for some candy!

We also went hiking at Savanna Portage State Park. I'll be honest, this wasn't my favorite State Park, but if you like camping, you might enjoy it more!

We tossed around the idea of renting mountain bikes and mountain biking at Cuyuna but decided we wanted something a little less stressful and drove up to Miner's Mountain in Cuyuna and checked out the views.

Andrew is really into foraging mushrooms and I found these Hen of the Woods on our hike so he grabbed them and then cooked them up for dinner!

I'm at the Fair tonight one last time! Thanks to everyone who came out to say Hi :). Now who's ready for the Fall?!
