Friday I got my hair chopped. It might not look like it but my stylist, David, took about 4 inches off and this was the end result!
I had been watching two dogs this past week and Saturday morning when I was working on some things at the kitchen table, they came and laid next to me, waiting for me to get done. They left Saturday afternoon and Andrew and I were super sad to see them go because they were such cuddly pups. Mikki was a big snuggle bug so we've missed that a lot.
Got out for a run around Lake of the Isles on Saturday. I haven't ran outside since December because all the ice that's on the ground does not make for easy running. But the trails around the lakes in Uptown are usually pretty well kept so it wasn't icy at all! They were setting up for The Luminary Loppet when I was there.
Saturday night we stuck with the new rule Andrew and I made which is to eat at the dinner table once a week. I made us shrimp tacos :)
After dinner, my girlfriend and I ventured to Troubadour Wine Bar to see Leah Tous perform. Leah is a vanlifer and we've had her on the show to talk about it so we know each other from social media but this was the first time we met in person. She's a phenomenal musician as well! I did a little Sunday funday in the North Loop yesterday but didn't get any pictures of that. I'm now watching a new dog Bleu for the week and we headed to the dog park Monday afternoon and played lots of fetch :)
