Friday Andrew and I went on a date. We went to the Walker to play their Skyline Mini Golf. It's first come first serve so you risk going and not being able to get in, heads up! We went at 1pm and still had to wait about 40 mins. The course is artist designed so it's very unique and fun! If you hit the arrow you can see when we played back in 2014! The course was on the sculpture garden grounds back then.
While we were waiting we walked around the sculpture garden. Andrew really liked this one so he asked me to take a picture of him.
Saturday we went on a long bike ride around the lakes in Uptown, over to Lake Nokomis, and then Minnehaha Falls. I couldn't believe how sparse the falls are. It makes sense since we're in a drought but it was so weird to see.
Ever since the stories of the fake violinists came out last week now I question if street performers are actually performing. As far as I know this guy was because he sang and played guitar and talked in between songs and there was no backing track! Just his guitar and voice!
If you are in a relationship with someone who is into mountain biking you might be able to relate to this. Andrew's mountain bike is his pride and joy. He spent many many hours this weekend working on it. I went to REI with him one day and quickly found out going there with him is like him coming with me to Target. We might be in there for 10 minutes or it might be an hour!
