Is "Follow Your Passion" Good Career Advice? Most People Say Yes

You've probably heard this advice before. Maybe you've even given it to someone. But is it actually GOOD career advice?

We always tell young people to "follow their passion" . . . meaning find something you love, not something that'll just pay well. So is it good career advice or not? Most Americans still say YES.

59% of adults say it's usually good advice . . . and only 18% said it's bad advice. The other 24% aren't sure.

We were curious what older people thought, since they've got more life experience. But it holds steady across most demographics.

59% of people 55 and up think it's good advice too.

Men and people under 35 were a little more likely to say it's bad advice.
