I spent Friday baking cookies and mentally preparing for kickball playoffs Saturday.
Kickball playoffs are the best. Quite possibly one of my favorite days of the year. I get made fun of a lot for my obsession with kickball but the league I'm in is SO much fun and I've made a lot of great friends over the years of playing. Such as the people in this picture. They're on a different team but we've become good friends through the league!
HUGE shout out to my team, Pitch Don't Kill My Vibe, for showing up with their A game and crushing playoffs. We play Wednesday nights and won the Wednesday night league and this year they had the Wednesday champs go against the Thursday champs and we won that game too! We played some very good teams so it wasn't easy but we got that final W and took home two trophies this year!
Playoffs involve drinking and I did my fair share of it Saturday. I don't drink a ton anymore but when I do... watch out cause the girl who loves to take shots comes out to play (that's me) and the next thing I know I'm waking up in my bed to random food lying next to me. It looks like my drunk food of choice last night was leftover Mac N Cheese and an attempt at eating cookies. (I think that book title sums up my mindset when I'm drunk)
Sunday Andrew came over and we went in on some pizza while watching the Packers game. Congrats to the Vikes this week. They showed up and my team definitely did not. Thank goodness I had Toppers sticks to help ease the pain.
