This is the time of year when Scouts, especially Cub Scouts, are looking for new members. Here's my pitch to join Scouting:
- Everyone can succeed in Scouting. Not just the fastest, strongest and tallest kids.
- Your boy or girl will have adventures, big and small that will give them a lifetime of wonderful memories.
- It builds character and what's more, it teaches decency and self-reliance.
- You can participate too. Sports are great, but you aren't allowed to play on your daughter's volleyball team.
