As I'm writing this up on Sunday night I'm watching football with my boyfriend and he just stood up in front of me and asked if his butt looked full today, sidenote: he has zero butt. I told him pigs will fly before his butt ever looks full. Now I don't have a picture of this interaction, but I still thought I'd share. Alright onto my weekend!
Friday night I got out for a run, went home and slept 9 hours, then got up to workout right away Saturday morning. I'm going to toot my own horn for a second here because I started heavily working out in July with only one day off a week and I'm starting to see the results from my hard work!
Afterwards I biked to the Minneapolis Farmer's Market that's off Lyndale and bought all of this for $11. We all were challenged to shop somewhere local this weekend and I figured, this would be a good place to do that!
Saturday night, my boyfriend and I had a fire and made s'mores. I put a poll on my Instagram about what was the better s'more, Reese's vs Hersey's, and Reese's won 52% to Hersey's 48%. But I also got a ton of messages about trying Reese's thins. AND I never heard of this before, fudge striped cookies with a marshmallow, skip the graham crackers.
Sunday morning I woke up to a bunch of texts from my family to find out my sister had my nephew! This is Luka Paul Helland. He came into the world a VERY big boy at 9 pounds, 11 ounces. I'm going to head back to Wisconsin next weekend to meet him and I can't wait!
And I continued to shop local for a present for my new nephew at Patina and grabbed some coffee from Quixotic!
