My college friend Merissa is getting married in August and we had her bachelorette party this weekend. We stayed at the lakehouse at Madden's on Gull Lake!
Friday night we hung out at the lakehouse, had pizza, and played a bunch of games.
Saturday we rented a pontoon for the day and hit Gull Lake. There were quite a few bachelor and bachelorette parties at the sandbar so we met a few other brides and grooms.
Shout out to David and Lisa in Detroit who got me this inflatable beer pong table for my birthday a couple years ago. I hadn't gotten a chance to use it yet but finally got it out and it was a ton of fun!
We went to Zorbaz for a little bit Saturday night (stayed out on the patio the whole time) and one of the bachelor parties from the sandbar was there. The groom's dad was awesome. His name was "Hot Carl". He explained he got that nickname because he was doing really well during a baseball game one day so his teammates started calling him that. Hot Carl can outdrink the hell out of this Wisconsin girl.
We had a great weekend and am so happy we were still able to celebrate our bachelorette even with COVID :)
