What Can Be Learned from Binge-Watching 10 Hours of Virus Outbreak Movies

It's pretty uncanny how some of the apocalyptic virus movies have actually gotten it right. From empty store shelves to political in-fighting. I watched "Contagion" a few weeks ago when this was just starting up and actually really enjoyed it. Part of it takes place in Minneapolis, where Gwyneth Paltrow returns from a business trip to Asia and brings back a deadly virus that kills her within something like a day, or an hour. I can't remember.

So I haven't watched any since then, but this writer did, and they share some lessons about what they learned from these movies, a lot of it is playing out right now in our world.

It's a good read. Check it out here.
