Stocking Up For The Coronavirus? Here's What You'll Need!

I think we've all seen the mass-buying panic that's happening here in the U.S.

It can be confusing & very scary. You brain is saying "Why is everyone mass buying toilet paper? That doesn't make any sense", but after awhile your thoughts become "Wait, should I be buying toilet paper too?"

If you or a family member contracts the virus, you'll need the same things you would want on hand if you had the seasonal flu. First and foremost, call and speak with your doctor before taking any medication of any type. Typically, what you will most likely want to have in the house will be:

  • Pain reliever
  • Humidifier
  • Sleep aid
  • Chicken noodle soup
  • Crackers or toast
  • Pedialyte or sports drink

If your family is quarantined you will likely need two weeks worth of food in your home. Frozen dinners, canned soup, dried or frozen fruit, frozen or canned vegetables, and grains like pasta and rice are good to stock up on. If you have kids, you can grab an extra gallon of milk and store it in the freezer. Just pour out a little before freezing because it expands! To defrost, put it in your fridge for about a day and a half.
