Dave's Gift Guide

It's not always easy finding that perfect gift, but I have some ideas so you don't have to fall back on the gift card, candle or fuzzy socks! every one of these gifts is something I own and love and highly recommend. Let's go!

This is the InMotion eliptical. This model comes with arm bands to get some extra work in there. I love mine and use it while I watch TV. I move it back in the corner when I'm done. It's under $100 bucks on Amazon. Here's a link.

I love my coffee! A plain cup is good enough for me, but I love the cappacinos and lattes this thing makes! It's easy to use and kinda fun! $179.99 on Amazon here.

The single most relaxing part of my day is playing my ukulele. I started a year and a half ago and I love it. This starter set has a decent uke in it cuz when you're starting, you don't need an expensive one. You can learn some very easy basic songs on YouTube and there are some great apps for learning too, like Yousician, which is what I use. Here it is on Amazon for $59.99.

Your dad probably loved Classic Rock and this is the book for him. It's about the glory days of classic rock like The Rolling Stones, Def Leppard, KISS, Zeppelin, etc. and how these old acts are dying off. It's fascinating and I read it all in about a week, which is fast for me. Here it is for about $12 bucks.

I got a towel warmer on a whim about 3 years ago and thought I'd use it twice and forget about it. Naw. It's amazing. I use it every morning and having that warm towel to look forward to makes getting out of the shower much, much more enjoyable. The exact model I have isn't available anymore but try this one. It's 139.99 on Amazon.

This is the Clipadoo Too! It clips your dog's poop bag to your leash so you don't have to carry it. It's an improvement over the original Clipadoo because you can do it while wearing gloves or with cold fingers. It's 9.99 and you can order it here. Five Star Reviews!

This is the Bonavita electric tea kettle because on a cold, dark winter day or night, tea can lift your spirits like nothing else. You want to get the kind you can control thet exact temperature because if you put your tea in water that's too hot or too cold, you won't get all the flavor out of it. This one is $50.60 on Amazon here.

Okay so you could use plain old teabags but that's just boring. Get loose leaf tea instead. Try this one if you're not sure what to start with, but there are SO many out there and part of the fun is to explore and sample. Tea aficionados use the precise amount of tea and water at just the right temperature. This scale is 12 bucks and gets you right down to the 10th of a gram. Most teas are steeped at 3 minutes with 3 grams per 8 ounces of water. Much more fun and enjoyoable than dunking a Lipton teabag in a coffee mug!

And that's it! I hope this helps you find something for that special someone!
