Okay, it's probably not, unless we take care of ourselves on the way to getting older. Most of us don't. Someone once said, "If I'd known I'd live this long, I would have taken better care of myself!"

Don't fall into the trap of reading about some old lady who's 95 and says she smokes a pack a day and drinks a shot of whiskey with every meal. That doesn't work.

Look around and see how many super-old obese people there are. There aren't. Please don't fall into the popular trap of thinking we can be healthy at any weight. It's a myth. Don't think it's okay for your kids to be obese either because you're depriving them of some of the most joyful things in life. PLUS, as your kids get older, they still need you around!
