It's hard to argue that climate change is a real thing. Of course, there's still a discussion about whether it's caused by humans or not. I honestly don't know and from what I hear, science doesn't exactly agree on it either.
But, in a lot of ways, it doesn't matter. Even if it's just part of a cycle of the earth warming and cooling as it has for millions of years, protecting the earth is always a good idea.
The problem is, what can you and I do? We can't stop driving. We can't control whether the local power company uses coal. We can't control whether hypocritical celebrities fly their dogs to Spain on a private jet, or how many homes around the world they heat and cool.
BUT we can do a few of these:
-Wash your clothes in cold water.
-Switch the LED light bulbs.
-Unplug things when you're not using them (cuz they suck power even when they're off)
-Remove your lawn. Okay I know this one isn't gonna happen anytime soon but one day I think we'll look back on the era when everyone had a thirsty, pesticide soaked lawn and we'll all be disgusted with our past.
-Recycle.
-Eat less meat.
And that's just for starters. For the whole list, click here.
