The couple, both white, went to the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science for help conceiving a child. They got a big surprise when the child was around two, as she started to develop Asian features. The duo had a DNA test done and there was zero probability that the husband was the girl’s father, despite the fact that his sperm was supposed to be used it fertilize his wife’s eggs.
The lawsuit against the clinic seeks damages and they also want to find out who the girl’s biological father is, as she has a blood disorder that the mother doesn’t carry. The court has already ordered that the clinic produce to us everybody of Asian decent who donated sperm, was inseminated during the critical times that family was there.
