Raise a beer at Minnesota’s most authentic Oktoberfest being held Friday & Saturday, September 13th-14th! Just like the Munich original, our festival is held in September at the historic Schmidt Brewery.
St. Paul Oktoberfest kicks off with a keg tapping ceremony on Friday at 6pm. Then there will be Dachshund races, Steinheben (stone lifting) strongman competition, and bed races on Saturday. Enjoy live music, cultural programming, and a Kinder Carnival all weekend.
Admission is free. ID and $5 wristband is required for alcohol purchases. Kinder Carnival admission is $8. Proceeds support the Germanic-American Institute, whose work and mission keep German culture alive and thriving in Minnesota.
