Cordelia Botkin was an American murderer who sent a box of poisoned candy to her ex-lover's wife. This was the first American prosecution for a crime which took place in two different jurisdictions, as Botkin had sent the poison from California, but it was received in Delaware. Hear this historic true crime story and something unique about this episode is that it wasn't written by me but a up and coming writer that's also a fan of the true crime genre named Indira Lorick who you can follow on twitter.
