My Weekend in Five Pictures: Colonoscopy Time!

I think the weather kept a lot of people from doing a whole lot this weekend. I left the house exactly once all weekend and that was to go on a walk. Let's gets started with my weekend in five pictures!

I've had pain in my stomach for years and sometimes it gets so bad it's hard to think about anything else. I've had tons of tests and tried everything from hypnosis to Hemp Oil. I had another colonoscopy Friday. If you ever have one, don't worry about it, it's not that bad. The worst part is not eating for a day or more before your procedure.

As you probably have heard me talk about, my son Carson is a senior, so there are a lot of "lasts" happening. Friday night was his last jazz band concert.

Saturday was supposed to be the day we did "Roger's Rescue Ride 2", a motorcycle run for homeless animals, but the weather was kind of bad so we postponed it to June 22. Sign up here. Since I had the morning free, I went out for a walk. I went to Lake Minnewashta Park and basically let myself get lost on the back cross-country ski trails. I knew I wasn't really lost but there were plenty of times I had no idea where I was. It's a HUGE park! This is my path from from my phone. 7.15 miles!

Sunday, I didn't get out of my PJs until probably 4pm and I practiced my banjolele for over an hour. I love it. Probably the most relaxing thing I do.

I was talking to Susan about success and what it takes to accomplish all the things you want to and she pointed out two things I don't do that could have made me more successful. One of them is be more of an asshole, because she claims I'm too nice and worry about helping other people instead of helping myself. Are you guilty of that? And what is the other thing I'm lacking? Listen to my latest podcast here or look for it in the Podcast App, iHeart Radio or on iTunes.

I hope you have a great week! Next weekend is a 3-Day weekend, so you have something to look forward to!

Thanks for looking at my blog!
