Susan was visiting her dad in Florida for a week and Carson mostly wanted to hang with his friends, so it was kind of a "solo" weekend for me until Sunday. Here's my weekend in five pictures!
Friday night, I was by myself and found Hot Pockets in the freezer. Okay, I'll make this short. Hot Pockets make a very sad, disappointing dinner. They're fine for a snack or maybe lunch, but dinner? No. There is nothing about a Hot Pocket that, after you eat it makes you want to say, "Wow, that really hit the spot! I feel good about what I had for dinner!"
This was Friday night. Roger is Susan's cat and when she's gone he gets pretty lonely so he climbed up on my lap. When I decided to take a picture, my dog Josie (who is MY dog) got jealous and stood there watching us. Notice Roger giving a Josie the evil eye as if to say, "Don't even think about jumping up here."
Saturday I refused to sit in the house so I went out cross-country skiing at Baker Park Reserve. It was a beautiful day and tons of people were out. if you haven't tried cross-country skiing, you should try it! You can rent skis and it's fairly easy to get around on them.
Saturday night, I spent playing my ukulele. Sometimes I think I'm getting better. I should be. I've been playing since July!
Sunday was the highlight of my weekend! I took a bunch of Boy Scouts out to Hyland to earn the Snow Sports Merit Badge. It was a beautiful day and the boys did great!
I hope you had a good weekend! Spring is just around the corner so hopefully we'll all be getting outside more often!
Have a great week and thanks for looking at my blog!
