Chaney is the first and only gymnast to ever score a perfect 10.0 at the MSHSL State High School Gymnastics Championships. (In it's 45+ year history there have been 2 other 10.0's awarded, but they were during the regular season and only required 2 judges awarding that score.
That's a perfect 10.0 received from all four judges. Her 39.125 is the highest All-Around in 20 years since Stephanie Benson of Eagan set the existing record of 39.325. Additionally, her sweep of all 4 events and the all-around was the first in 44 years since it was done in the opening year, 1975, by Bonnie Burning, of Burnsville.
