The Conners premiere reveals Roseanne died of...

Per, Roseanne o.d.'d on opioids.

The premiere of the 'Rosanne' reboot, 'The Conners,' aired Tuesday night, sans Roseanne who was killed off with an opioid overdose.

In the first part of the show, the is family sitting around lamenting how much they miss her, and at first it appeared she had died of a heart attack about three weeks prior, however before the first commercial break, it is revealed Roseanne had a drug problem and she overdosed.

Her husband Dan (John Goodman) says he had flushed the remaining pills from her knee surgery down the toilet, but then daughter Becky (Lecy Goranson) says she found pills in her mother's closet, and that they weren't prescribed to her.

'Roseanne overdosed on opioids,' Jackie tells Dan after she spoke with a friend in the corner's office. 'They think she must've taken the pills right before bed, and with her health issues, it must have stopped her breathing.'

Dan, working through the awful news, tells her 'It doesn't make any sense, I got her knees fixed, I flushed all her pills.'

Darlene and Becky come outside and Becky says: 'Mom overdosed?' 

Then Darlene confesses to finding pills in her mother's closet. Becky notes, 'These weren't prescribed to her, these are for Marcy Bellinger.'
