Relationship experts compiled a list of five signs you're too co-dependent on your partner:
- You base your emotions off their emotions
- You have trouble forming your own opinions
- You hold off on making plans with others-- just in case
- You're preoccupied with how they perceive you
- You prioritize their future plans over your own
- You're afraid to express any anger towards them
- You're afraid to be alone
I've been in relationships that I can definitely say were partially co-dependent and that is why those are in the past. I'm no therapist, but if you can relate to even one or two of the things on this list, you may want to reevaluate your relationship.
