Saturday was our annual morning show broadcast at the state fair. We had a ton of fun hanging out and meeting all of you! Here's Tina and I in front of the KDWB Selfie Wall. I LOVE the design. My family came to visit Saturday night so I decided to take them to Psycho Suzi's so we could get some fun drinks. My sister and I shared one of their big fire bowls.
Saturday I had to broadcast at the fair again. I met Adam who's from London and as you may have heard, I'm awful at accents. So, what did I do? I played a game on-air with him where he would say a sentence and I would try to mock it in a British accent. He told me there's no chance I could pass as a Brit.
I tried the new firecracker shrimp avocado that you can find at The Hideaway Speakeasy in The Grandstand. I loved it. It wasn't your typical fried, greasy, heavy fair food. Very refreshing and light. Highly recommend!
I used to love rides but something has changed in the last 5 years and now I'm pretty terrified of them. I thought I would enjoy the high swings in The Midway so my sister and I went on them but when we were at the top I screamed the entire time. So after that we did the Tilt O' Whirl and that was the extent of rides I did at the fair.
