Dave's Weekend Visit to Boston in Five Photos

Well hello! We flew to Boston this weekend to see Carson who's at a five-week music school out there. It's by far the longest we've gone without seeing each other and it was great to see him again.

Busy weekend, so let's get started!

This was outside the oldest building in Boston, the original state house where the Declaration of Independence was first read to the public from the balcony.  Inside is a gift shop and Allison bought me this hat. Well naturally I had to wear it!  I went outside and got this picture with these reenactors.

Hanging out with Carson for the first time in three weeks.

We did the History Walk which is really cool. It includes the site of the Battle of Bunker Hill, the monument in the top right.

And the narrowest house in Boston, only 8.5 feet wide.  The story is the person who built it only wanted to piss off his neighbor and block his view.

And the Old North Church where Paul Revere saw the lanterns; One if by Land, Two if By Sea.  I honestly don't remember whether he saw one or two, but it was really cool.  I love history!

I hope you had a great weekend!

Thanks for looking at my blog!
