My friend won a trip to Mexico through her work and I got to be her lucky plus one! We stayed at the Paradisus in Playa Del Carmen. It was my first time in Mexico and we definitely went all out and had a fabulous time!
We didn't spend a ton of time at the beach because honestly it smelt like seaweed and wasn't the most pleasant to be around.
The first night we had some of the best sushi I've ever tasted, I'm still having dreams about it.
The second day we got a little bit crazy at the pool. There were endless pina coladas so I ended up falling asleep on our balcony at 7pm, missing our dinner reservation and apparently a super fun karaoke night at the main hotel bar.
Due to falling asleep at 7pm day 2, I was up at 5am the next morning and walked down to the beach to watch the sunrise. The serenity of the beach and no one being awake was one of my favorite things of the whole trip.
We took it easy day 3 but at night it got pretty wild because there was a wedding at the hotel for a Baltimore Ravens player so we ended up partying with them after they were done with all the wedding festivities. And no, I didn't find myself an NFL boyfriend because they all had wives or girlfriends but still had a blast!
I did however spark a vacation romance with a guy from Arizona. We'll probably never talk again but we hung out the latter half of my trip and had a ton fun together!

I met so many awesome people on this vacation. These guys were from the wedding party and let us chill in their cabana all day. It's funny how complete strangers can become your best friends for a day on vacation.
My friend is OBSESSED with ceviche so the last night we ordered a ton at dinner and it was some of the most delicious food I've ever had!
