Hello Dave, Steve and Falen,
I promised my son that I would write to you and send you the video he and his sister made for you guys.
I personally first started listening to Dave when I was 14 years old and had just left the only home I had known in Colorado and moved to Apple Valley MN. 8 years later I moved to Texas. I missed Minnesota so much with all of the beauty the state had and even the brutally cold and snowy winters.
I found the podcast online a few years later. I was a stay at home mom by that time and often the only conversations I had were with my small children. Just listening to the show made me feel like I had a little bit of “grown up” time in my life.
This past summer we moved to Colorado Springs and I am so happy to be back in a beautiful state where I feel like I am home. I still miss Minnesota and hope to travel there to show my 5 kids the beauty it has to offer.
I still listen to the podcast everyday in my car after dropping off my older kids at school. My 5yr old son ( the only boy) and youngest daughter LOVE when Steve and Dave say their “Do you get it! BONG”. Falen I have to tell you my son talks all the time about how pretty you are and gets protective when the boys on the show poke fun at you.
Anyway just wanted to say thank you for being a part of my life for so long. I am attaching the video my two kiddos made for you guys.
