Dave's Weekend in Five Pictures February 23-25

What? The weekend is over already? Wow!

And the Olympics are over too.  I always get kind of sad when the Olympics are over. I guess because I know it's going to be another four years before they're back. Just kinda sad.

BUT I had a good weekend! My wife was out of town. She went with our daughter Allison to Waco, Texas to see Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Market.

Saturday, I went to Samantha's house in Richfield to record my weekly podcast "Take a Shower, Show Up on Time and Don't Steal Anything" with her. She listens to the podcast and  few weeks ago I asked for someone to volunteer to guest host with me. She was great, AND she had snacks! Hear our podcast now here.

Speaking of amazing women, I LOVE THIS GIRL! Weather Girl Jenny had a job offer in Buffalo, New York and it was a a great job for great money. We talked and talked about the pros and cons of staying and of going but I told her I can't make the decision for her.

I told her a trick I once heard that will help you make a decision.  You get a coin and have one decision be heads and the other decision be tails. Flip the coin. As soon as the coin is in the air, you'll know what your heart really wants the answer to be. That's what Jenny did and she knew she wanted to stay at KDWB. I'm so glad. Jenny is so sharp and talented and kind. We're lucky to have her and when she's ready I know she can find another great job offer in about 2 minutes.

We got snow over the weekend!  I love big snowstorms! During the storm, Carson and I were just sitting on the couch watching TV and I said, "Let's take Josie to the dog park!" So we did. This is at Lake Minnewashta. She loved it and so did we. It was snowing the whole time even though you can't really see it here.

I opened a cupboard above the fridge that I never look in. Lo and behold, About a half dozen flower vases. Not that this is interesting at all, BUT do you keep yours? Apparently my wife has trouble throwing them away, and I get that. But honestly, are we ever going to use more than one of these ever again?

This is Roger, our cat. He missed Susan all weekend and was crawling all over me every time I sat down. Sunday, I caught him trying to hide under this blanket. It cracks me up when cats try to hide. They are the WORST at it.

I hope you had a good weekend and that you have an even better week!

Thanks for looking at my blog!
