76% say THIS was a relationship dealbreaker

Some new surveys show that debt makes you less attractive to a potential partner.

This one particular survey by personal finance site Credible revealed that 1 in 5 people decided not to date someone because that person had debt. And according to a recent survey by Finder.com, 76 percent of Americans said that credit card debt was a reason to get out of a relationship. How much credit card debt? Just over $11,500 was the average amount that people said was a deal breaker. And another survey, this one by Gobankingrates.com, found that 28 percent of people said having too much debt was a reason to end a relationship.
