Being a morning person is a ton of work. You have to really get enough sleep and have your head in the game if you’re going to wake up happily at a decent hour. But there’s one thing you can do to really ensure you’ll feel more refreshed in the morning.
Instead of getting up and lunging for the coffee maker, experts say you should grab a glass of water instead. Nutritionist Rania Batayneh says that your coffee will actually dehydrate you, so it’s best to start off your day with water. It also helps you out with brain function, so maybe you’ll feel a little less groggy when you wake up in the morning to a glass of the clear stuff.
