Dave's Christmas Vacation in Five Photos!

Happy New Year!

Welcome back to the real world! The snow, the ice, the COLD! The getting up for work or school! We'll be there for you every morning like we have been for 24 years!  (almost 25!)

Thanks for listening to our show!

And now, on to Christmas in 5 Photos!

Christmas Eve tradition for probably 10 years or more.  We go to Hyland to snowboard or ski.  Carson HATES having his picture taken for some weird reason.  Here we are on the lift. It was great! Not crowded, good snow and no falls!

Christmas Day. We played the game where you wrap money, candy, lottery tickets, etc. in a big ball of Saran Wrap. You try to unwrap the ball while the person next to you rolls dice.  You have to stop when they get doubles, then pass it to them. That's Allison and her fiance' Justin.

Not sure why my smile looks more and more fake every year, no matter what I try.  We went to Disney and have to take the obligatory shot in in front of Cinderella's Castle.  Christmas week is the busiest week in Disney World.  One line was FOUR HOURS LONG! No thanks! But we got on enough rides to enjoy ourselves, including my favorite, The Haunted Mansion.

Carson loves "Man vs Food" and "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" so he found a place in Tampa called "Danny's All American" for lunch.  Just a tiny little hole-in-the-wall but great food!

That's Susan's dad.  He's always been a lot of fun and full of stories and laughs.  He fell off a ladder hanging up a Christmas wreath a few weeks ago and just got home from the hospital. It's always sad knowing that this could be the last time we see him at his house or who knows, see him at all. People say hug your kids and you should. But remember to hug your old people too.

Have a great week! Good luck with your New Years Resolution if you have one, and thanks for looking at my blog!

Dave
