I am writing this letter to you to nominate my good friend and coworker Dave, his wife Jaye and family for your Christmas Wish.
Dave is a loving husband to his wife Jaye, and proud father of 3 daughters Morgan, Madison, and Rylie. To start things off in just the past few years Dave has lost both of his parents which would be hard enough for anyone to take. To make matters worse just this September Dave's wife Jaye was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer called amyloidosis which the mayo clinic only sees about 100 cases a year. Over the last few months Jaye has been in and out of the hospital while also going through 2 rounds of chemo which have been unsuccessful. As you can imagine she has been forced to quit working, and Dave has missed many days here at work because of this. He has also been forced to leave early here at times when she is having a bad day or needs him for something.
With all the medical bills piling up and anticipated costs going forward Dave and his family have been forced with the hard decision to put their home up for sale to help with this situation. I can only imagine what a difficult decision this had to be for him as they have to give up the place they have called home for so many years.
Through all these struggles, Dave still comes to work every day that he can with a smile on his face. He is the first one at work to help new sales people when they start, and has always contributed what he could whenever there is a benefit or charity event here at work. He has even gone as far as helping out a coworker here pay their rent and get them groceries when he was bed ridden at home, after being in the hospital and out of work for over 2 months!
I know Christmas wish usually picks families with younger children but I could not think of a better person/husband/father/coworker and most of all friends than Dave who is more deserving for something good to happen to him! Thank you for taking the time to read my request for your Christmas wish and I hope that you guys can help me bring some holiday cheer to such a wonderful and caring individual!
