Dave's Weekend in Five Photos December 1 - 3

Did you have a good weekend? I hope so! It's a busy time of the year with Christmas coming, and of course, Jingle Ball.

The first picture from my weekend actually happened Saturday at noon at McDonald's in Highland Park.  I gave away Jingle Ball tickets, hung out, talked to people and did some magic tricks. The kid in the middle asked me to do the same trick about 10 times and he loved it each time. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Going back to Friday night, we had our annual progressive dinner with the neighbors.  We always have a great time.  We played Dutch Blitz, my new favorite game, and everyone loved it.  Highly recommend it for the Holidays!

In the winter, I love drinking hot tea.  Not the regular kind in a teabag from the grocery store, but flavored teas, green teas, Japanese teas, etc. I'm not an expert but I have my favorites.  And no one is paying me to say this, but my favorite place to get them is Mrs. Kelly's Tea.  Saturday I went to their tea tasting, picked up a bunch of tea and met Mrs. Kelly herself!

This is kind of an unusual picture for my Five Pictures blog.  I took a nap on the couch Saturday and my wife saw Josie just get up on the couch and stare at me for like five minutes.  She took a picture of it.  It's cute and kind of weird.

Speaking of weird pictures, here's one.  :)

The door to our bathroom was coming off the hinges because the screws were pulling out of the door.  So I asked my friend Mike, who makes cabinets, like NICE cabinets, what I should do to fix it.  He knew right away. Would you know what to do?  I won't say here, but comment in the comments section below if you would know what to do.

PS.  I'll tell you on the radio whether it actually works or not!

Have a great week and thanks for looking at my blog!
