Minnesota's Worst Blizzard Ever

Such a fascinating and sad story.  It started off as a beautiful and warm fall day, but without warning, a huge storm blew in, trapping people outside who didn't see it coming.

They called it The Armistice Day Blizzard because it happened on Armistice Day (now known as Veteran's Day) back in 1940.

Back then, 77 years ago, methods of predicting the weather were pretty primitive compared to today.
