What Returning Your Shopping Cart Says About You

What does it say about you if you don't return the shopping cart you used to that little cart corral?  I think most people do, at least most of the time.

This article makes a good case for the idea that people who take the trouble to return their cart probably get a lot of other things right in their life too.

And people who can't be bothered?  Well, read on and find out.

I'll take it a step further.  People who floss probably have a little more ambition and take time to do things a little more carefully than people who don't floss.

I mean think about it.  If  you take that extra two minutes to floss, you probably also take a few seconds extra to walk to a trash can instead of throwing an empty Reese's wrapper on the ground.  If you floss, you probably also leave for somewhere a few minutes early so you won't be late.  If you floss, you probably don't wear pajama pants to Target.

I don't have any proof this at all, but I think flossing is kind of that one little tipping point in life where either you do it, which shows you take a little extra time and effort to do things right, or you don't.

If you DON'T floss, why not start?  I didn't until I was about 25 and ever since then my gums never bleed and it never hurts when my dentist or her assistant stabs me in the gums with that sharp pointy thing! Plus, it might get you thinking of some other little things you can do to improve your life!

Here's the shopping cart article!
