Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs. I was 17 or 18 and had to write my goals for the next ten years. At the time, all I could think about was radio and I had no interest in marriage. I don't think I'd even ever had a girlfriend when I wrote this.
And an assignment talking about what I imagine my life would be like when I'm 80.
And my favorite, a journal I had to keep for an assignment. I had just turned 18. Look at the entry for November 11th. The last sentence, I'm talking about my girlfriend Vanessa and how the fire department thought she'd started a fire where she worked.
I don't remember that if she really did or not but I do remember I had another girlfriend who spent time in prison for burning down the daycare where she worked. Yes, I could really pick 'em back then!
I love the entry on November 21 where I was late to school because I had transmission oil in my hair. Holy WT!
And this entry on the 16th. I TOTALLY remember this day and I could point out exactly where I stopped to pump up my tire. I have no idea why I remember that so well!
