This weekend was really busy for me. Right after the show on Friday I drove down to my older sister's house in West Bend, WI to then immediately head to Milwaukee to see Eric Church's concert. I've never been to a concert like his. There was no opener and he played for almost 4 hours with just a 15 minute intermission. I loved it!
For Christmas, my sisters and I bought tickets for ourselves and mom to see Aladdin in Chicago, so Saturday we drove down to Chi-town and spent the day doing the typical touristy things. It was 75 and sunny so we hit up Navy Pier, Millennium Park, Wildberry for brunch and Portillo's for dinner, and then saw Aladdin at night. It was a great girl's trip and so nice to be able to spend time with my family since I live five hours away and don't get home too often.
I haven't been home for Easter in 8 years so it was awesome that this weekend I had planned to go to a concert in Milwaukee/see Aladdin in Chicago landed on Easter weekend. I'll be honest, I might have been more excited to spend Easter Sunday with my sister's new puppy Maisy, than the fam (just kidding). But here's an adorable picture of her sleeping.
