Rumor has it Apple's iOS 10.3 will have at least one interesting addition: Theatre Mode.
Known Apple update leaker Sonny Dickson recently tweeted that the next iPhone and iPad software update will include a popcorn-shaped icon in the Control Center indicating Theatre Mode, and that Apple will start testing it on January 10.
According to Forbes, Dickson thinks theatre mode will allow users to dim the screen and mute audio and notifications so they can use their phones in a dark theatre without drawing attention to themselves.
