Friday I took the day off of work to do my 5th annual Mega Walk! I walked 21 miles and raised money for Strike Theater and the MN Fringe Festival, and I raised $1600! Yay! It was a day packed with some twists, but a lot of beautiful sights and two more miles walked than expected.
Right after my walk, I hustled back home to take a 20 min nap and then was out the door again for my friend Sarah's birthday get together at The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe. The escape room was actually really difficult, but we figured it out (after multiple clues lol)
And after THAT, I performed in Improvised Twilight Zone at Bryant Lake Bowl. It was a good set about an undertaker whose dead bodies came alive to task him to be a better father. I played like 5 characters and got to get pulled across the floor at one point.
Saturday I drove out to Kasson-Mantorville HS to do a Spotlight pre-evaluation for their musical, The Addams Family. It was a great show and I was lucky to see some of their understudies!
After the show, I beeboobopped around Mantorville, which is a little town kind of frozen in the 1910s! There were a handful of historic sites and museums, and I stopped at them all. What a neat town.
This weekend I also got to see a ton of theatre! White Christmas at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, Primary Trust at the Guthrie, 16 Bar Bingo at The Hive Collaborative, and Terms and The Last Menagerie at the Crane Theater as a part of the Twin Cities Horror Festival. SUPPORT LOCAL THEATRE!
