Bailey's Weekend in Northfield in 5 Pics

Friday night I bopped around a lot - first I went to see Mixed Precipitation's pickup truck opera, The Return of King Idomeneo. It was outside in a community garden in St. Louis Park and it was so lovely. There were people there who just biked by and stopped, people with picnics, children, what an awesome moment of community!

Then I headed to Strike Theater because my favorite improv group, The Bearded Company, is back in action after a summer off. Yay! I also went to a burlesque show after this, but forgot to take pictures. It was a late night.

Saturday, Momma Ronda and I headed down to Northfield because it's FINALLY TIME. The Defeat of Jesse James Days, which I was told about the Monday after the fact last year. So I've waited for this for 51.5 weeks. We watched 3 of the 4 bank raid reenactments.

I saw so many people from my Dundas era, but obvi was most excited to see Molly DeMann. Seriously everyone I met in that small chunk of last year were so nice - community do be poppin' down there.

Sunday was another day at the Renaissance Festival, but I got to go home after, put on pajamas, and had the first session of our next DND campaign! My character this time around is a half-orc swarmkeeper named Jorrak. Looking for face character pics is my favorite part.
