I was home for an extended weekend to see family and friends who I haven't seen since AT LEAST August. I pulled up at my alma mater to see a couple of friends and of course I was unintentionally twinning with my friend (who I call my cousin) En'janae.
My youngest sister, Layla, and I always used to bake cakes when I still lived at home. She asked me if we could while I was visiting so of course we did. The thing that made me feel super old was when she asked me if she could crack the eggs and she did it almost flawlessly.
My other sister, Brielle, was in her school musical of Rocky! She played a street singer and absolutely crushed it!
This was a kid in the play - don't ask me what role he played but tell me he doesn't look exactly like me!!!
I got to see my mom and a couple of cousins who I never see plus Grandma (the one that calls me Boom) even though she didn't get in the photo. My mom and Grandma spoiled me by making all of my favorite foods that I like for dinner.
This is my nephew, Kingston, who very rarely smiles in photos with me!
My dad, stepmom, sister Layla and I got dressed to take nice Christmas photos. My cousin who just bought a camera out of nowhere and thinks she's a photographer is the one who took this pic LOL. I do have to admit - the photos came out nice and I love how we all color coordinated.
This is one of my longest running and best friends, Khadir. Him and I have been through hell and back together since 2017. He pulled up at my house for dinner.
Last thing I did before coming back to Minnesota - I stopped by my friend from college's house. Pictured left to right is Johan, Justis (in the back), Marissa, and poorly Photoshopped in (because he couldn't come) is Nick.
