Dave’s Weekend of Bidets, Gophers, Pumpkins and Cake!

The weekend started off on the wrong foot. I had the flu shot and Covid shot on Thursday and Friday morning I woke up feeling awful. Chills, confused, achy, awful. I went to work because I knew it wasn’t contagious but by about 8:15 I realized I couldn’t even keep up with the conversation on the show so I went home and went straight to bed. Not a nap on the couch but full on in bed. It helped a lot but I still felt “off” the rest of the day.

Here’s some pictures starting with Friday afternoon when I felt well enough to get some things done.

Jenny LOVES her bidet so she and Bailey and Vont got me one for my birthday and I put it in on Friday. Super easy. It goes under the toilet seat and there’s a knob you twist to turn it off and on. It’s on Amazon or hellotushy.com. I’m not sure but I think it’s around $50.

Saturday morning I went to the grand reopening of the Chanhassen Snap Fitness. We had a great time and I met so many wonderful people!

Saturday I went to the Gopher game and this guy was sitting next to me. You know me, I love talking to old people because they have such great stories that will be lost if they don’t share them. I started by simply asking him if he went to the U. By the time the game was over I heard about how he went hunting for the first time when he was 14 (he’s 85) and this fall he’s going hunting again with the same rifle his dad gave him that year. Thanks for talking to me, David!

For my birthday, we sat in the Cambria suite and after the game, this quintet came by and they were so good!

Sunday I went to Stock and Barrel in Chanhassen to renew my Conceal and Carry permit.

Ava (she’s 4) made me this birthday cake. She was so proud and I made a big fuss over it! Thanks Ava!

I got this giant, 89 pound pumpkin 2 weeks ago and finally got around to start carving it. I don’t have the design carved yet so stay tuned!

Okay I know that was more than 5 pictures but ya gotta bend the rules here and there as long as no one gets hurt. Amiright?

Thanks for looking at my pictures!

-Dave
