Friday I rushed back to my hometown as quick as I could after the show for my Dad's retirement party! He ended up working a couple years longer than he planned so it was a very much well deserved party!
The place that made his cake screwed it up and wrote "Happy Birthday" instead of "Happy Retirement" on it, lol.
We had a taco bar for it and at one point my nephew asked for a plate full of cheese and just ate it with his bare hands, a true Wisconsinite!
Saturday my sister threw my niece a birthday party! My aunt made this homemade ice cream cake for her and she loved it!
Andrew, my sister's dog Klay, and I went for a hike at a place I grew up going to right outside of my hometown called Hobbs Woods. I haven't been to it since probably high school so it was fun to go back and have Andrew with!
