Another Crockpot Recipe, Hungry Deer, 0 Degrees & More From the Weekend

It seems like I come to Colorado a lot, but really only once every six weeks or so most of the time. I love being there in the same way you probably like going to your cabin, but you're favorite place to be is home. I'm lucky technology allows me to do the radio show anywhere there's internet, but I still like doing it there in the KDWB Space Needle Studio with Falen, Jenny and Drake and me all in the same room.

But since I was in Colorado, let's look at some pictures from the weekend!

We Minnesotans know cold, so this wasn't a big deal. Sort of rare though for this part of Colorado.

Busted! This a-hole and their buddies kept robbing my bird feeder!

I made mini meat loaves in the crock pot. The recipe called for them to be served over polenta. I'd never heard of polenta! It's kind of a corn meal paste that you boil till it's soft and add spices to. Not a fan. I should have used mashed potatoes. The link for the recipe is below.

I love coffee and it's fun to try different ways to make it. I bought this tiny little coffee pot, loaded it up and put it on the stove and forgot about it. 30 minutes later it had boiled dry and the handle melted off. Woops.

And my niece Michelle came by! She was dropping off a Christmas present and hung out for an hour to catch up on the family gossip!

Less than a week till Christmas! Are you ready? Are you excited?

Thanks for looking at my pictures!
