We moved into our house 2 weeks ago, then left for vacation for a week and came back home to quite the mess. So we HAD to spend this weekend getting things in order and finding furniture we still need. I don't have too many exciting things from my weekend because of that so I'll start with this picture of Mikki. She had surgery on Thursday and now has to wear this cone for 2 weeks. Look at those sad eyes...
Saturday I got up and went to the Room and Board outlet. Found a bed frame I loved but wasn't positive it would fit up the stairs and we didn't want to have another situation like the last bed frame we got so we measured everything and when we went back to get it, it was gone. Bummer! But that's the name of the game with the R&B outlet. We did get out for a nice bike ride Saturday afternoon!
I've become a big fan of espresso martinis so I bought the ingredients for them and attempted to make one Saturday night. I would give this one 5/10. Definitely still have some work to do to make it taste better!
Sunday I got up early and wanted to go for a run. I asked Andrew if he wanted to come. He said no, but last minute decided he would come with! I'm always bugging him to workout with me so I was excited to have a running buddy. We went around Lake Harriet and it was a gorgeous run with all the leaves falling/changing.
