Happy Monday!
Dave, Falen, Jenny, and Tina started off the week strong with the show this morning. Jenny had a funny story about a Karen this weekend at Minnehaha Falls who was upset that Jenny took more than a minute to take a picture. Throughout the show Dave shared his "What's your favorite station?" joke, which was always worth a chuckle. During my favorite Monday bit, Spousal Weekend X-Factor, only Jake matched with Falen, but as per usual, Susan was my favorite part. I love her dry sense of humor. She guessed Dave's highlight was her playing piano and serenading him, but Falen had a great follow up question ("Did you do it naked?") that made me giggle. The Monday Morning Dance party had me up and dancing in my kitchen. Dave played an old clip of his mom with her football pics from one of his old radio shows and the sea chanty version of "Edina Girls". Dave, Falen, and Jenny talked about her fake laugh, which still needs some work but has definitely improved over the weekend. There was a new contest, "That Ain't Nothing", which was funny; hearing the winner talk about stealing his mom's car at 13 years old and getting into a car chase with the policy while his mom was out of state was hysterical. Dave shared some great information about Run DMC; I can't wait to see what other artists he highlights during Black History Month! There was a replay of "The Cheese Song" and last Friday's Mixtape Game, which were fun to hear. Falen had one story for "Falenies" about a guy who claimed he didn't know he was on a car chase with the police (there were a lot of car chases on the show today). Overall, the show was very fun today and I enjoyed it. I also loved the two shout outs I got; thanks guys! I can't wait to listen tomorrow!
